- Service one: Life Review.
I’ll help you tell your life story in whatever creative way you choose, and record it for your loved ones to enjoy for years to come. There’s lots of research on the healing benefits of Life Review. The dying have an opportunity to slow down, reflect and find meaning. The loved ones learn something new, and see their dying loved one in a more holistic way. We use Life Review to create peace, and opportunities for forgiveness, in a safe and supportive way.
- Service two: For the actively dying client
I am here to provide comfort and support to the person who is actively dying (expected to die within days/hours), and any loved ones present. It can be scary and overwhelming when a loved one is dying. Just like being born into the world, dying is an unknown. You want extra support for yourself, because you want to be emotionally present and attentive to your loved one’s needs. I am here to keep things calm and create a peaceful environment that suits this sacred time. I provide everything you and your loved ones need except medical care.
If your loved one is alone, perhaps in a hospital or facility, I act as an advocate and communication bridge with staff. I give my undivided attention to keeping your loved one calm and comfortable, so they can do the sacred work of dying.
If you are supporting your dying loved one at home with hospice, or in a facility or hospital, I am there for you. I might make you a cup of tea, provide music or aromatherapy. or stay with your loved one while you rest.
My goal is to create a safe space for the dying person to do the work of dying, and for the loved ones to do the work of letting go. As a certified Reiki and Integrative Energy Healing practitioner, I offer healing touch, as well as spiritual support such as pre-death blessings, as part of this service.
