Have you ever heard about someone else’s end of life choice and thought “No, I absolutely don’t want that!” or “Hm, that’s interesting!” We’ll find what works best for you as we explore all of the options; those you know, and those you might not have heard of.
- We will use a Death Positive approach to envision a good death, and create a personalized holistic death care plan. This may include discussion of your spiritual needs, creating sacred space and a peaceful setting, where you want to be at the end of life, and what kinds of care you do and do not want.
- I will guide a discussion of available end of life documents with you and your loved ones. We will choose and complete those that are most helpful to you in indicating your preferences for healthcare.
- We will explore Ethical Wills and Legacy Work as pathways to create meaning and honor your values.
- We’ll talk about what you want to happen to your body after you die. There are lots of options! Think about what has happened to people you know. Were they cremated? Ashes made into a tattoo? Buried at sea?
